This policy explains which data is processed when you use the Alter Editing Method desktop app, mobile version, extension and Telegram bots.

2. Data we use

We use only the data needed for sign-in, access and support:

• basic Telegram profile data: identifier, username, display name and profile photo;
• service settings and information about authorization, subscription and access;
• support requests and limited technical data needed to resolve issues and protect the service.

3. Purposes of processing

Data is used for authorization, subscription verification, service functionality, support, error diagnostics and prevention of spam, abuse and unauthorized access.

4. Data retention

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to operate the service, maintain security and fulfil the stated purposes. Temporary data is deleted automatically when it is no longer required.

5. Sharing and security

Personal data is not sold or shared for advertising. Telegram and hosting, infrastructure and support providers may process it only to the extent required to operate the service. Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law. Internal access is limited to administrators who require it to operate the service or provide support.

6. Rights and deletion

You may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data through Telegram support. Deleting data required for authorization or security will end access to the relevant functions. Necessary data may be collected again if you use the service again.

This policy may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
